What we do
Mercury Swan Consulting provides senior advisor services to start-ups and small companies, where we help you to pitch to potential investors, make introductions to new partners, customers and investors, provide technology strategy and business development support, and help in defining the high level product architectures. For larger companies we provide technology scouting and technology trend monitoring services. Additionally we provide technical due diligence services to companies, investors and venture capital companies.

CEO and founder
Hans van Rietschote is the CEO and founder of Mercury Swan Consulting. Until June 2009 he was a senior director at Symantec where for 10 years he ran the Technology Scouting Group as part of the office of the CTO. The mission of the Technology Scouting Group was twofold: one to discover and evaluate third party technologies from start-ups or small companies and two to identify and monitor the top ten technology trends that will be disruptive to the enterprise software market. After 10 years of working with start-ups and small companies he decided to create Mercury Swan Consulting so we can offer all the skills he acquired during this period.
